PineBase works remotely across Australia. That only works when change windows and pairing hours are explicit.

What we ask at discovery

  • Which hours can production-affecting jobs run?
  • Who must be present for a promotion approval?
  • Are there frozen periods around retail peaks or board demos?

Pairing without burnout

Build weeks should not require nightly sessions by default. We schedule overlapping hours for Perth and Melbourne when needed, and we keep production-touching work inside agreed windows. Asynchronous review covers the rest.

Why this belongs in the statement of work

Unspoken expectations about “just hopping on tonight” turn consulting into accidental on-call. Naming windows protects your team and ours — and keeps remediation work reviewable instead of heroic.
